New Murabba Stadium design
On July 16, 2024, the New Murabba Development Company, a subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund, announced the design of the 'New Murabba Stadium', an iconic architectural landmark in the heart of Riyadh City. The stadium will cover a total area of 180,000 m² and have a seating capacity of over 45,000.
The stadium is envisioned as a vibrant community hub, with a design inspired by the Acacia tree (Genus acacia), a natural feature of Wadi Hanifah.
