ROSHN Project

ROSHN is a project aimed at developing fully integrated neighborhoods and communities that encompass amenities and services in various regions throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The project aligns with a ten-year government action plan and adheres to high standards in construction, design, and planning. It draws inspiration from Saudi local heritage while embracing a modern lifestyle. This undertaking is executed by ROSHN Real Estate, a real estate company owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF).

ROSHN aims to increase the Saudi citizens' house ownership rate to reach 70 percent by 2030, as well as improve the quality of life and offer job opportunities in different regions across the Kingdom.

The project seeks to develop large neighborhoods in nine cities distributed among four administrative regions in the Kingdom: Riyadh, Makkah, Asir, and the Eastern Province.

ROSHN also aims to enable various segments of society to access housing by offering a variety of housing units tailored to meet different needs and styles.

In this project, ROSHN cooperates with real estate developers, local contractors, and national companies. It forges strategic partnerships with them that align with its vision and meet the expectations of the local community in providing integrated residential neighborhoods.

ROSHN company is granted the lands dedicated to the development and construction of neighborhoods and housing communities. The project is funded through the sales of housing units and cooperation with private sector real estate developers and investors, not to mention the support provided by the PIF. ROSHN is an active participant in the growth of the local economy through the revenue generated for the PIF.

Sedra, located in Riyadh and designed in accordance with the Salmani architecture style, is considered the first integrated community by ROSHN. It is known for its ease of access to various amenities, such as mosques, hospitals, medical centers, public and private schools, kindergartens, as well as shopping malls and other facilities like as Civil Defense Center and the Red Crescent.

Sedra comprises approximately thirty thousand residential units distributed across an area of twenty million m located to the north of Riyadh. In the initial phase, the plan is to construct 4,500 residential units, providing an opportunity for those seeking high-end housing options in Riyadh. Additionally, the community will be seamlessly integrated into the modern transportation network and the main roadways.
