King Abdullah Sport City in Qassim is a multi-purpose sport facility in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It hosts major sporting events and matches under the supervision of the Ministry of Sport.
Establishment of King Abdullah Sport City
King Abdullah Sport City was established during the reign of King Fahd Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in 1983, one year after he assumed power. It is located on Ali Bin Abi Talib Road in the middle of Buraydah City to the north, specifically in al-Iskan Neighborhood, and is only a few minutes away from the city center.

The total area of the city is 155,917 m2 and includes several facilities: the sport stadium, the indoor sports hall building, the youth hostel building, the theater building, the administration building, and the members building, in addition to the swimming pool building, and dependencies.
The city also includes a swimming pool hall, a subsidiary stadium, a mosque, outdoor stadiums located in the north and south of the city, the disabled center building, changing rooms, a restaurant, external parking spaces, and the central park.
Sport stadium in King Abdullah Sport City
The city houses a sport stadium with a capacity of approximately twenty-five thousand seats. The sport stadium has an oval shape, with a running track and fully-opened seats surrounding the playing field.
It is commonly used for football matches and is known among the public as Buraydah Stadium. It can also be used for official celebrations and others.
