Carrom is one of the traditional games in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It consists of a square wooden board with a small circular pocket in each corner. The game is played using four types of round pieces, along with a set of wooden discs: nine yellow, nine black, and one red, plus a special striker disc larger than the others. Carrom gained popularity in the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s of the twentieth century across all regions of Saudi Arabia.
