The area of cultivated land in al-Madinah al-Munawwarah, west of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is approximately 1,444.29 ha, according to the Madinah Investments Platform. This platform is an initiative of the al-Madinah al-Munawwarah Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Urban Observatory of al-Madinah Region Development Authority and the Economic Development Center of al-Madinah al-Munawwarah Province Emirate.

The number of sites designated for agricultural activities reaches fifty-five, covering an area of 827,341,210 m. There are 1,071 approved agricultural plans and 15,190 farms.

The number of organic farms is eighty, making al-Madinah Province the leader in organic farming among the provinces of the Kingdom.

Al-Madinah al-Munawwarah ranks second in the number of palm trees, with approximately 8.3 million palm trees producing around 220,000 t annually of various types of dates such as Khalas, Ruthana, Ajwa, Lona, Rabia, Sukari, Sukkari, Saghai, and Safri, according to the statistics of the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture for 2023.
