The Virtual Kindergarten Application is a governmental electronic application that aims to adopt a distance learning methodology for children in early childhood in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It was launched by the Ministry of Education in 2019, which is also responsible for overseeing it.

The Virtual Kindergarten Application offers several services, including presenting educational content to children in the form of illustrations and images, teaching values and concepts through purposeful digital games, and enriching children's thinking by providing them with fundamental knowledge in religion, language, mathematics, natural sciences, and more.
Educational elements in the Virtual Kindergarten Application
The Virtual Kindergarten Application offers a variety of educational components, such as chants, games, stories, videos, and interactive activities. These elements are based on Saudi Arabia's developmental standards for early learning, such as the learning approach and the stages of social, linguistic, physical, and mental development, etc.
Virtual Kindergarten Application beneficiaries
The Virtual Kindergarten Application is dedicated to children between three and six years old. Parents can add a maximum of five children to use the application.
The application serves both citizens and residents, operates on "Android and iOS" smartphone systems, is completely free of charge, and supports both Arabic and English languages.
Education system in Saudi Arabia
The Ministry of Education, in its electronic and distance education system, relies on a range of platforms and educational solutions, including: the “Madrasati Platform,” which is considered an international model for managing e-learning by providing both synchronous and asynchronous learning through various digital solutions, electronic curricula, and educational resources; the “Rawdati” platform and application; and the “Virtual Kindergarten” Application for the preschool stage. Additionally, the “Ain” educational channels, which include twenty-four satellite and YouTube-based channels, support all educational levels with sign language and broadcast content twenty-four hours a day, including three channels for special education, one for continuing education, and one for kindergarten.
