The population of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is 32,175,224, according to the 2022 Saudi Census.
The population in Riyadh Province, Makkah Al-Mukarramah Province, and the Eastern Province constitutes approximately 67.5 percent of the country’s total population. The following five cities are the most populous:
- Riyadh: approximately 6.9 million residents.
- Jeddah: approximately 3.7 million residents.
- Makkah Al-Mukarramah: approximately 2.4 million residents.
- Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah: approximately 1.4 million residents.
- Dammam: approximately 1.4 million residents.
