Timeline of Riyadh Art Project

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, inaugurated the Riyadh Art project as one of Riyadh's four major projects.

The Noor Riyadh festival was held in March 2021 as the first event of the Riyadh Art project.

In July 2021, the Riyadh Art project selected twenty artists to participate in the third edition of the Tuwaiq International Sculpture Symposium, which is considered the second initiative of the project after Noor Riyadh.

The events of the Tuwaiq International Sculpture Symposium were launched in November 2021 in the JAX district, in the historic Diriyah.
