Saudi International Handicrafts Week "Banan 2024," is the second edition of the exhibition organized by the Heritage Commission under the Ministry of Culture in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in partnership with several entities. It took place from November 23 - 29, 2024 at the Roshn front in Riyadh. It focuses on crafts and handmade industries, as well as attracting those interested in handicrafts and local and international artisans to showcase and sell their products to visitors. 

Objectives of the Saudi international handicrafts week "Banan 2024"

The objectives of the Saudi international handicrafts week "Banan 2024" was to provide a cultural experience to visitors through direct interaction with artisans and observing the stages of producing artistic handicrafts pieces. It also contributed to reviving the role of handicrafts enriching the cultural scene, along with achieving a sustainable and futuristic vision for the sector, as well as economically encouraging artisans by enabling them to market their products to local and international visitors.  

Targeted audience of the Saudi international handicrafts week "Banan 2024"

the Saudi international handicrafts week "Banan 2024" aimed at incorporating five hundred local and international artisans from twenty countries around the world, engaging artisans in showcasing and selling their crafts, offering live craftsmanship presentations, and engaging institutions and entrepreneurial craftspeople to display their crafts and market their stores. The exhibition also targeted associations by showcasing their products and introducing the association, and engaging designers in the Crafts Art Village to present design ideas for artistic handicrafts.

Activities of the Saudi international handicrafts week "Banan 2024"

The Saudi international handicrafts week "Banan 2024" included a variety of pavilions and activities presented to visitors, such as: Crafts Art Village, Craft Exhibition, Live Craft Presentations Pavilion, in addition to a Workshop Pavilion, an area dedicated to interactive experiences, a platform devoted to business leaders and craft institutions, and a children’s pavilion featuring various activities dedicated to children.
