Saudi Energy Application

The Saudi Energy application is a government e-application launched by Saudi Energy on the app stores of "Apple" and "Google" for electronic applications, in 2020, and it aims to make the company’s services available, including viewing billing data and submitting requests for electricity service connection, in addition to providing detailed information about the company’s programs and its other services.

Services

The Saudi Energy application enables its users to access several services after downloading it from the app store and logging in to the personal user page, including: viewing invoice data, sending a copy of it via email, viewing consumption brackets, service disconnection dates, payment data, historical status, and related charts, subscribing to and cancelling the electricity messages service, and subscribing to and cancelling the e-billing service. 

The application also allows enquiring about the status of an electricity service request, browsing favorite numbers, viewing accounts and recent requests, viewing the locations of subscriber service offices and how to reach them, booking appointments, and displaying instalment plans, in addition to the "Barq Plus" service, which is dedicated to providing electricity service connection for commercial projects within a period not exceeding seven days.

Quick services

The Saudi Energy application offers a number of quick services without the need to log in, including: entering the subscriber account number to view invoices, quick subscription to the fixed bill, and accessing the "Hasibati" service, which is dedicated to calculating the bill value and allows viewing meter reading details, requesting reconnection after a power disconnection, reporting power outages, in addition to the complaint tracking service.

Features

The Saudi Energy application is an extension of a previous similar application launched in 2015,and in 2020 the new version was launched and made available on the app stores of "Apple" and "Google" for electronic applications, with the addition of the electronic bill payment service, meter reading, and other direct services, and the application was made available on smartphones running "Android" or "iOS". On  January 1, 2024, it was launched in its new version, to improve the customer experience and raise efficiency and reliability in performance, and to provide a digital experience that enables the customer to manage their account and enhance communication with customers.

The application provides about sixty services for the subscriber, and its services benefit citizens and residents who have active subscriptions with Saudi Energy, or those wishing to open accounts and submit new subscription requests.
