The Literary Encyclopedia, a book that introduces the writers of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and provides samples of their stories, poetry, and articles, authored by the Saudi writer Abdulsalam Taher Al-Sassi, in which 111 writers are collected, the book is titled "The Literary Encyclopedia: A Circle of Knowledge of the Most Notable Writers of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia".

History of the Literary Encyclopedia

The literary encyclopedia was issued in three parts, the first part was issued in Makkah Al-Mukarramah in 1968, with a speech by Muhammad Sorour Al-Sabban and an introduction by Muhammad Hassan Awwad, the second part was issued in Makkah Al-Mukarramah in 1975, while the third part was issued in Taif in 1980, and stopped at the letter Ghayn, and the introduction to this part included a reference to the author's intention to issue a fourth part, but it was not issued.

Arrangement of the Literary Encyclopedia

The arrangement of the book is based on the alphabetical method of the names of the literary writers, and includes an introduction to each writer, including their births, lives, jobs, and samples of their works in poetry, stories, and articles.
