Makkah Al-Mukarramah in western the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is rich in many crafts and handicrafts, representing the region's culture and traditions, and the skill and talents of its people, including:
- Making rosaries.
- Making prayer rugs.
- Crafting and making jewelry, gold, silver and precious stones.
- Manufacturing and producing perfumes.
- Dyeing clothes using plant materials.
- Manufacture of pottery, such as water jars (Azyar), drinking vessels, plant pots, and birdhouses.
- Construction and carpentry, the most important of which are wooden facades known as Rawashin.
