The Hajj e-Visa is an electronic service offered by the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to pilgrims coming from abroad. This is achieved via facilitated procedures initiated by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. They consist of replacing the visa sticker with a modern electronic one in line with the requirements related to speed and achievement and the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

Hajj e-Visa and the Pilgrim Experience Program

The Pilgrim Experience Program collaborates with the entities responsible for organizing Hajj and Umrah to launch the e-visa in all of the countries from which pilgrims travel to Saudi Arabia. This applies to both the Hajj and Umrah seasons, where the visa will facilitate the pilgrim's journey to visit the Holy Sites in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah.

Hajj e-Visa and Maqam System

The Global Distribution System (Maqam) is a tool for integrating the work of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the National Information Center in terms of issuing e-visas for pilgrims who have completed their contractual procedures digitally. This process eliminates the need to visit Saudi embassies abroad and allows issuing visas digitally, ultimately reducing time and effort.

Through advanced technologies linking the Diwan of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the official and temporary Hajj affairs offices, Hajj visas are issued electronically in record time via embassies, consulates, and supporting missions facilitating the visa granting processes in various countries around the world.

The digital portal for the Hajj e-Visa

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has dedicated a digital portal for electronic Hajj and Umrah visa requests on its website. Through this portal, Hajj and Umrah pilgrims can obtain their visas after providing the necessary information and finalizing the procedures related to the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah to simplify and expedite the visa steps.
