Darah Talks
Darah Talks is one of the electronic scholarly services of King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Through its interactive channels, it offers a series of knowledge-based lectures and scholarly meetings in a dialogue format, hosting specialists and academics in various social sciences and humanities from inside and outside Saudi Arabia. Its first content was presented on April 26, 2020.
Importance
Darah Talks offers visual content on history and intellectual literature, broadcasting a series of scholarly lectures as a discussion. It promotes research activity and enriches the local and Arab cultural scene through diverse contributions. It also highlights the importance and comprehensiveness of the science of history by addressing its various themes, contributes to bringing the arts of history closer to non-specialists from different segments of society, and strengthens their knowledge of a number of historical issues and topics.

Darah Talks hosts specialists and academics in the social and human sciences, both from Saudi Arabia and abroad, to discuss topics and ideas related to questions raised in relevant scholarly circles. It targets various specialists and nonspecialists from different social groups, through scheduled, interactive lectures attended virtually. Interested participants can register for the talk’s lectures and engage directly with the proposed topics. This live and varied content complements the scholarly services of King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah).

Darah Talks established a dedicated channel under the same name to facilitate access to its visual lectures. Through this channel, it has hosted specialists and academics in the fields of social sciences and humanities from Saudi Arabia and abroad.
The channel covers historical studies, approaches to reading history, new methods of textual verification, the historian's future role, new trends in historical writing, developments in historical writing and its methods, studies on the region's history, and the origins and development of writing.
