Community Engagement Platform (Tafaul)
Community Engagement Platform (Tafaul) is a governmental platform that enhances the relationship between the government and beneficiaries, taking into account their views on the level of governmental services provided and ways of improving them by participating in decision-making and designing solutions for challenges faced by the government, individuals, and the private sector. It is one of the initiatives launched by the Digital Government Authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to engage beneficiaries in crafting better solutions via digital platforms and achieve the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
Objectives of the Community Engagement Platform
The Community Engagement Platform aims to enable collaboration between the government and beneficiaries by enhancing communication and improving the quality of life, enriching the beneficiary's experience, aiming to advance Saudi Arabia in related international indicators, and promoting beneficiary interaction in decision-making and service design.
Scope of work and beneficiaries of the Community Engagement Platform
The Community Engagement Platform provides its services in three scopes: evaluations and complaints, consultations, and co-creation innovation, and these services consider multiple beneficiaries, including citizens, residents, visitors, investors, the private sector, and governmental entities.
Work process of the Community Engagement Platform
The Community Engagement Platform operates in phases, beginning with a research phase where decisions are proposed and information shared to gather public opinions, followed by enabling and activating beneficiaries' opinions by involving them in decision-making circles and considering their points of view, then presenting results and clarifying the impact from empowering beneficiaries and the effect on decisions made.
