Tabuk University is a Saudi public university and is one of the fourteen universities that were established during the reign of King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Its main campus is located in the city of Tabuk, and it has branches serving the governorates affiliated with Tabuk Province.
Tabuk University was established in 2006, spanning an area of twelve million m2, mostly comprising college buildings, institutes, deanships, and faculty residences.

The university includes thirteen colleges at its main branch, and four other colleges spread across the governorates: al-Wajh, Umluj, Haql, Duba, in addition to a university college in the governorate of Tayma.
As of the statistics for 2018-2019, the total number of male and female students at Tabuk University was 40,741.
Tabuk University's mosque is one of the most famous landmarks in the region of Tabuk. It stands out with its circular structure, which combines Islamic Arab character with a modern style. It covers an area of eight thousand m² and can accommodate 3,500 worshippers. A distinctive feature is its natural lighting, which comes through the dome and the glass walls.

The most prominent working mechanisms at Tabuk University are the Study and Examinations Bylaws, Financial Affairs Bylaws in universities, the Scholarship and Training Bylaws for university staff, and the Unified Postgraduate Studies Bylaws in universities. All these bylaws are derived from the Law of the Council of Higher Education and Universities.

In 2022, Tabuk University ranked among the top four hundred universities globally and among the top ninety-six Asian universities, according to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings. It also received the Blackboard Catalyst Award for Excellence in E-Learning for Leadership in Change and Community Service for 2021 and 2022.
