Majmaah University is a public university in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Its headquarters is in Majmaah Governorate in Riyadh Province. It was established in 2009. It is one of the fourteen universities established during the reign of King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Majmaah University is among four universities that were decreed to be established at the same time, along with Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University in Dammam City, Shaqra University, and Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University in al-Kharj Governorate.
The university city is located in the southern part of Majmaah Governorate, north of Riyadh, and is 180 km away from it. The area of the university city exceeds six million m. It can be viewed from the highway connecting Riyadh and Qassim as one of the key landmarks in Majmaah Governorate. The university city consists of buildings for colleges, administration, and deanships.
Majmaah University colleges and centers
The university has thirteen colleges distributed in the main branch of Majmaah and other branches in the governorates of al-Zulfi, al-Ghat, Rumah, and Howtat Sudayr, including the College of Education, the Applied College, the College of Science, the College of Business Administration, the College of Engineering, the College of Medicine, the College of Computer and Information Sciences, and the College of Science and Human Studies. The university has several centers, including the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, the Community Partnerships Center, and the Majmaah University International Prosthetic Rehabilitation Center.
