Boulevard World Zone

Boulevard World Zone is one of the entertainment zones whose opening was announced by the General Entertainment Authority as part of the Riyadh Season 2022 events. It brings together diverse experiences from several countries around the world, including Egypt, Britain, India, Asia, Mexico, France, the Levant, China, America, Spain, Italy, Greece, Japan, and Morocco.

Boulevard World includes the world's largest artificial lake, where visitors can ride submarines for the first time in Riyadh City, Las Vegas' Area15, the world's largest Korean theater, Combat Village, Super Hero Village, the world's largest sphere, boat rides, and cable cars for transportation between Boulevard World and Riyadh City Boulevard, with a capacity of up to three thousand visitors per hour.

Boulevard World 2022 brought together nine countries from around the world in one place, with events held for the first time. And among those countries was France, which presented theatrical and musical performances, alongside stores offering perfumes and French beauty products. The attendees familiarized themselves with aspects of Chinese culture through heritage buildings, performances, and popular carnivals. They experienced 'Dragon Fury' and explored the Chinese market, getting to know Chinese crafts and products.

The visitors toured the Mexican Mayan civilization amidst live musical tours featuring famous figures. They also experienced ascending to about eighty m above Mexico and descending rapidly in seconds. The zone transported the streets of Hollywood, USA, to the capital Riyadh through sculptures and studios featuring famous American films. Visitors also indulged in street food. In the Indian section, attendees enjoyed Indian theatrical performances, strolled near the Taj Mahal Palace, and experienced the Festival of Colors.

The attendees enjoyed authentic Moroccan folklore, snake shows, and traditional markets and dishes. The visitors explored Moroccan civilization through pottery and traditional clothing in the shops. The Spain section presented roaming musical performances, alongside its shops, distinctive building details, renowned restaurants, and flamenco shows.

The visitors navigated in boats through the canals of the Italian city of Venice and attended plays and performances of flying pizzas. They explored shops offering masks, and tasted sweets and pastries on the lakeside. In Greece, visitors were transported to this region through roads adorned with Greek sculptures and architectural designs, amidst the enchanting island of Santorini and attending folklore shows.

Boulevard World in the fourth edition of Riyadh Season, spanning from November 2023 to April 2024, was developed with an expansion of its area by over 40 percent. It was divided into twenty sub-zones, including the international section featuring various regions with specific cultures. Each sub-zone was uniquely designed, distinguishing itself in terms of food, architecture, and music. For instance, the ancient Levant portrayed the historical features of the region through buildings that narrate its story, while the Egyptian Pyramids professionally showcased historical techniques, maintaining their original form.

Boulevard World zone hosted Boulevard Lake, which allows navigation among its diverse sections that encompass nineteen diverse entertainment experiences and an interactive cinematic museum showcasing significant archaeological discoveries throughout history. Additionally, it boasted the world's tallest mobile roller coaster with a speed of 110 km/h, the CocoMelon World, and the 'Fun Zone'.

During the season, Boulevard World zone featured events, such as the Meta Virtual World experience with games that blend reality and fantasy, the Boulevard Forest hosting a variety of beautiful and rare animals, and the water bumper boats game. Alongside other Riyadh Season events, Boulevard World featured activities such as Super Fly, the Riyadh Season Cup for men's and women's tennis, theatrical performances, and the 'Ana Arabiya' event.
