The Abha Chamber of Commerce, or Abha Chamber, is a nonprofit entity aimed at developing various commercial activities across different sectors, representing them before ministries, authorities, and public institutions, and working to protect and advance them. Its headquarters is located in Abha City, and it is a member of the Federation of Saudi Chambers. It is one of the two chambers of commerce in Aseer Province, along with the Bisha Chamber.
Establishment of Abha Chamber
Abha Chamber was established in 1981 by Minister of Commerce Decision No. (47) and was officially inaugurated in the same year. The chamber has a legal personality and financial and administrative independence. It is affiliated with the Ministry of Commerce and consists of a general assembly, a board of directors, and a general secretariat.
The idea of establishing the chamber originated from a group of businesspeople who saw the need to create an entity that would unite traders, industrialists, and entrepreneurs in the region, representing and safeguarding their interests and rights while fostering an attractive investment environment in Aseer Province.
With the expansion of its operations, Abha Chamber inaugurated a new headquarters in 1989 on a 16,000 m² site, strategically located along the main road between Abha City and Khamis Mushait. The facility consists of two interconnected towers—one with seven floors and the other with six—covering a total building area of approximately six thousand m².
Organizational structure of Abha Chamber
The organizational structure of Abha Chamber consists of a board of directors with fifteen members. It also includes several sectoral committees that provide essential services to the region’s economic sector, with each committee serving the sector it represents. The chamber has thirty-two specialized committees, comprising twenty-three main committees and nine subcommittees, with representatives from various trades and professions among its members.
The main committees of Abha Chamber include the Commercial Committee, Tourism Committee, Health Committee, Industrial Committee, Real Estate Committee, Social Responsibility Committee, Recruitment Committee, Security and Safety Committee, Entertainment Committee, Education and Training Committee, Real Estate Appraisal Committee, Agriculture Committee, Hospitality Committee, Sports Sector Committee, Lawyers Committee, Hospitality Facilities Committee, Contractors Committee, Concrete Products Committee, Engineers Committee, Transport and Automotive Committee, Entrepreneurship Committee, Businesswomen Committee, and Childcare Centers Committee.

Services of Abha Chamber
Abha Chamber serves various business sectors in the region, offering three main service packages, each containing multiple sub-services. The first package, known as Membership Services, includes services related to communication with stakeholders, general services provided to affiliates, and value-added services, which encompass five types of sub-services.
The chamber also provides a range of electronic services for members and beneficiaries, including membership services, training services, localization services, Abha Law Center services, consultancy unit services, small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) services, and booking services.
In line with its service development efforts, Abha Chamber launched the "Businessmen's Challenges Solutions Committee" platform in 2022 to support the business sector and investors in the region. This platform aims to empower business owners and entrepreneurs in Aseer Province by assisting them with inquiries, addressing challenges, and finding appropriate solutions. It serves as an interactive platform for receiving proposals related to various private sector issues and all relevant industries.
