Al-Muallim Mohammad Bin Laden Chair for Creativity and Entrepreneurship is one of the research chairs affiliated with Umm al-Qura University in Makkah al-Mukarramah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Established in 2014 with support from the Saudi Bin ladin Group, the chair aims to promote a culture of creativity and entrepreneurship and contribute to the growth of this sector in Saudi Arabia, in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030. It achieves this by organizing scientific forums and publishing research that explores key local and global issues related to the field.

Objectives of Mohammad Bin Laden Chair for Creativity and Entrepreneurship

Al-Muallim Mohammad Bin Laden Chair for Creativity and Entrepreneurship seeks to foster a stimulating academic environment for producing high-quality research in the fields of creativity and entrepreneurship by leveraging available material and human resources. It also aims to cultivate a community of specialized researchers in these fields, contribute to promoting a culture of creativity and entrepreneurship in Saudi Arabia, and generate credible, high-impact research that benefits society.

Entrepreneurs Challenge Competition

Mohammad Bin Laden Chair for Creativity and Entrepreneurship launched the Entrepreneurs Challenge Competition in collaboration with Wadi Makkah Technology Company to equip students with the knowledge necessary to become future entrepreneurs, foster an entrepreneurial culture among students, and contribute to Saudi Arabia’s economic development by preparing, supporting, and incubating entrepreneurs, and introducing them to society. The participating student, male or female, must be enrolled as a full-time student in the College of Business Administration at Umm al-Qura University and commit to attending all training camps if their team qualifies.
