SHL Finance Company (SHL) is a Saudi joint-stock company established on December 11, 2007, initially named the Saudi Home Loans Company. In February 2023, it rebranded to "Sahl Finance." The company was founded in partnership with the Arab National Bank, Dar Al-Arkan, and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), operating under the supervision of the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA). SHL offers real estate financing products and has obtained licenses to provide consumer financing and financing for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

In 2022, SHL was listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Saudi Tadawul) under the name: "SHL," and symbol (1183) in the main market within the banking sector, with ISIN (SA15HG50IFH7).

SHL establishment

SHL was established in December 2007 following the Minister of Commerce and Industry's approval to announce the founding of the Saudi Home Loans Company (a closed joint-stock company) with a capital of SAR1 billion. The founders subscribed to all the company's shares and paid their full value. The company is headquartered in Riyadh City and has a duration of ninety-nine calendar years starting from the date of the ministerial decision announcing its establishment, with the possibility of extension by a resolution from the extraordinary general assembly.

SHL management

The company is managed by a board of directors comprising eleven members elected by the ordinary general assembly of shareholders for a three-year term. The establishment of the company aligns with the state's policy to expand the economic base, diversify national income sources, and encourage the private sector to play an active role in driving economic development.

SHL activities

SHL engages in real estate financing, consumer financing, and SME financing for individuals and companies, in accordance with the Companies Law and the Finance Companies Control Law. The company conducts all necessary activities to achieve its objectives in compliance with Islamic Sharia and applicable laws.
