Athra Translation Platform

Athra Translation Platform is a Saudi publishing house dedicated to translating articles and books and publishing them in soft and hard formats. It is also responsible for preparing and qualifying translators under the supervision of specialists in linguistic and translation studies, ultimately enabling them to translate articles and books in various fields of humanitarian knowledge and publish them on the platform website and Arab libraries. The platform enables professional and amateur translation to take part in the translation process.

The translations published on Athra Translation Platform comprise articles and books in the fields of literature, psychology, philosophy, sociology, criticism, reading materials, and children's literature.

The number of books translated by the Athra Translation Platform has exceeded one hundred books. Athra Translation Platform has organized various activities, including Athra Project for the Translation of Books, executed over five cycles, the Advanced Translation Program, the Sacred Texts Translation Forum, the Translation Forum for Researchers and Higher Education Students, Academic Research in Translation Studies, "Pitfalls in Translation" Program, held in two editions, Translation Skills, Reading and Translation, Islamic Translation, Translation and Cinema, and The Translator's Visibility Amidst the Text's Invisibility.

Athra Translation Publishing House has launched its project for translating books. It is an interactive project that culminates in the translation and publishing of books among all libraries and e-book stores and exhibiting these books in book fairs and translation fora. In this respect, the publishing house supplies translators with the support, assistance, guidance, evaluation, and rectification they need.

The translator would become a member of the "Athra" platform, which is a membership granted to the admitted candidate who would have access to training and qualification via training sessions culminating in granting accredited certificates. The selected translators can also attend "Athra" discussion panels, collaborate with the "Athra" team to translate books and work under the supervision of specialists in translation, where they would select the book they would like to translate upon providing them with a list of the available books and granting them exclusive rights to those books. The translators would also be able to devise a plan for completing the translation while benefiting from constant follow-up. They would ultimately be qualified to submit their applications for obtaining support in terms of translation or nominations for receiving translation prizes. Finally, they would be prioritized translators in terms of joining "Athra" translation projects, taking part in the translation process, and publishing their translations on the "Athra" translation platform.
