Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz was the first Minister of Agriculture in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he assumed office during the reign of King Saud Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in 1953. Prince Sultan (1930 - 2011) is one of the sons of Founding King Abdulaziz Bin Abdulrahman Al Saud. He was the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defense and Aviation (currently the Ministry of Defense) during the reign of his brother, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. He was a member of several official Saudi delegations abroad and headed Saudi Arabia's delegation to the United Nations fortieth, fiftieth, and sixtieth-anniversary celebrations. He was one of the most notable officials in the field of humanitarian and charitable work.
