Objectives of ACCA
ACCA aims to promote the culture of arbitration following governance and transparency values, contributing to serving the business sector, and stimulating investments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Additionally, it seeks to be a partner in providing the legal environment and creating a secure and attractive regulatory environment for foreign and domestic investment in Aseer Province by removing obstacles and difficulties related to commercial dispute resolution to make Abha a prominent investment-attracting center in Aseer Province.
The center also aims to settle commercial disputes when the parties involved agree to resolve their dispute through arbitration or conciliation and settlement within the center's framework.
Legal bases of ACCA
ACCA operates based on several legal bases for practicing and conducting arbitration and mediation, including the Saudi Arbitration Law and its executive regulations, the Licensing Rules for Saudi Arbitration Centers, the center’s articles of association, regulations, procedural rules, guiding principles, and ethical rules, along with any amendments thereto, as well as decisions issued by the Board of Directors.
The jurisdiction of ACCA includes reviewing disputes between natural and legal persons if they agree to resort to the center, and those arising between traders if they decided to resort to the center. The arbitration decisions issued by the center are final and may not be appealed.
