What Are the Target Groups for the Courses Offered by the Saudi Center for Fine Art?

The Saudi Center for Fine Art targets women, men, and children across different age groups. The center includes a dedicated section for women and children and another section for men, located in the exhibition hall spanning one thousand m². It is a specialized center that was established in Jeddah City in 1985. The center organizes art exhibitions and training courses and grants certificates accredited by the Ministry of Culture.
In addition to art courses in charcoal, pastel, oil, and watercolor painting, the center offers training programs in Arabic calligraphy, covering four levels. These courses teach participants the proper way to hold calligraphy pens, bamboo tools, and inks for various traditional Arabic scripts such as Diwani, Ruq’ah, Naskh, Thuluth, and Kufic, among others. The courses qualify students to become skilled calligraphers upon completion, and the Saudi Center for Fine Art provides certificates at the end of the programs. Additionally, the center offers courses in various creative fields, including gift wrapping, floral arrangement, jewelry-making, fabric printing, compressed foam printing, ceramics, pottery, and different types of découpage.
