Al-Manhal Magazine focused on publishing literary, linguistic, scientific, and historical research, eventually becoming one of the primary sources for studying literature and earning a strong reputation among Arab intellectuals. After its initial issues were published in al-Madinah al-Munawwarah, the magazine moved to Makkah al-Mukarramah and later to Jeddah Governorate, which became its permanent headquarters. It played a pioneering role in establishing the art of storytelling in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by introducing it to readers and dedicating a monthly section to it. The magazine also published a special issue titled 'The Story in Saudi Arabia.'
