Al-Faqir Well, also known as Salman Al-Farisi Well or Al-Maithab Well, is one of the historical wells associated with Islamic history and the Prophetic Biography. It is located in Al-Shuraybat Neighborhood in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, near Salman Al-Farisi Mosque and Salman Al-Farisi Farm. Located southwest of the Prophet’s Mosque, it is approximately four km away. It is fed by groundwater sourced from Wadi Bathan.
Al-Faqir Well is considered one of the historical wells in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah. It is situated in an area associated with the life of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him (PBUH), known as the Prophetic Endowments Area. This area includes Al-Mitham, where Al-Faqir Well is located, as well as Burqah, Al-Husna, Al-Dalal, Al-A'waf, Al-Mithab, Mishrabah Umm Ibrahim, and Al-Safiyah.
