Rai al-Nadhar “Monqiyat al-Jazirah” Competition is an annual contest parallel to the competitions of the Camel Club in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is a digital platform dedicated to public voting on selecting the most popular Monqiyah (herd) in the Arabian Peninsula, where the participating Monqiyat (herds) compete to win the title (Monqiyat al-Jazirah) as part of the ninth edition of King Abdulaziz Camel Festival 2024.

Voting in the Rai al-Nadhar “Monqiyat al-Jazirah” Competition

Participants in the Rai al-Nadhar “Monqiyat al-Jazirah” Competition register on the platform to receive free daily points. Each participant is allocated free daily points in their wallet, provided they use them on the same day. Every point represents a vote that the participant can cast. Contestants may increase their voting points by purchasing them, either by buying products or by direct voting through electronic payment. The results are determined by calculating the ratio of points among participants in each round.

Stages of the Rai al-Nadhar “Monqiyat al-Jazirah” Competition

Rai al-Nadhar Competition begins with thirty-two Monqiyat divided into sixteen head-to-head matchups. In each matchup, the Monqiyah with fewer votes is eliminated, while the winning Monqiyah advances to the next stage until the final winner is declared. The ultimate winner is honored by greeting the event’s sponsor, receiving al-Shaddad Cup, winning the grand prize, a private plane, and earning the title “Monqiyat al-Jazirah.”
