Aljouf Sustainable Energy Association
The association aims to transform the community of al-Jawf Province into a model community in using green energy, and a source of knowledge and expertise in sustainable energy. It is a non-profit association that brings together those interested in green energy to boost the community’s culture in the field of green energy use.
Layali al-Jawf Initiative
The initiative aims to dedicate gatherings with groups of experts in various health, economic, social, and sports fields and listen to their insights regarding the province and developmental trends or issues facing their interests and activities.
Jood Agricultural Cooperative
Established in 2023, it aims to promote sustainable agriculture in the province, create job opportunities for citizens in the agricultural sectors, boost citizens' income and livelihood, and increase productivity through the adoption of efficient water usage methods.
Shaghaf Enterpreneurship Center
The center was established in 2023 to serve small and micro enterprises. It is an initiative dedicated to discovering solutions for challenges and obstacles facing male and female entrepreneurs.
Prince Nawaf Bin Abdulaziz Chair for Sustainable Development
The chair was established in 2019 at Jouf University (JU) to address issues facing al-Jawf Province and methods to promote sustainable development there.
Empowering Non-profit Sector Center
In 2022, the non-profit sector support unit in the province was restructured to align with similar entities, ensuring its sustainability in realization of Saudi Vision 2030. This reorganization aims to enhance the operations of the non-profit sector, promote its growth within the province, and provide logistical support and facilitation for organizations and private endowment institutions.
Tamkeen Institute of Technology
Inaugurated in 2023, the institute is the first non-profit educational facility of its kind. It aims to support and provide training for boys and girls in al-Jawf Province.
Awards launched by Prince Faisal Bin Nawaf
As part of the work to develop al-Jawf Province on the social, economic, and urban levels, Prince Faisal Bin Nawaf has launched a number of awards aimed at serving the people of the province and improving their standard of living, namely:
Traffic Safety Award
The first edition of the Traffic Safety Award was launched in 2022 in its three sections: Ideal Driver, Best Traffic Safety Initiative, and Best Cooperator with the Traffic Department. The award aims to spread the culture of traffic awareness among the male and female inhabitants of al-Jawf Province, citizens and residents alike, promote sound traffic values and trends, as well as to encourage the community to participate and contribute to sustainable innovations, initiatives, and projects in the aspect of traffic safety.
Jouf Excellence Award
The first edition of the award was launched in 2020 as a recognition award bestowed by the Governor of al-Jawf Province to encourage the public sector and the institutes and workers in the private sector and honor pioneers in al-Jawf Province over twelve categories. These categories include Extraordinary Leadership, Exceptional Government Performance, Social Responsibility, Agriculture and Food Production, Environmental Preservation, Modern Media, Scientific Research, and Successful Projects, namely Culture and Arts, Athletic Activity, and Community Engagement.
Educational and Institutional Excellence Award
It aims to stimulate the educational and administrative community towards outstanding performance and promote practices that advance the level of work and achievement. It is awarded to different target groups, including the Student, the Special Education Student, the Teacher, Academic Excellence, the Educational Supervisor, the Administrative Employee, and the Outstanding Initiative category.
Al-Jawf Governor Community Sports Award
It is an award with sporting and social objectives that contribute to the consolidation and promotion of a vibrant society within the framework of the Saudi Vision 2030. The total prizes for male and female contestants in the first edition were SAR220,000.
