


Jeddah Season is one of the entertainment seasons launched as part of the Saudi Seasons initiative. It features artistic, musical, cultural, recreational, and sports events and takes place in Jeddah City, located on the Red Sea coast in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The first edition was held from June 8 to July 29, 2019. It was paused for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic and resumed in its second edition between May and June 2022. The season returned with a new theme, "Once Again," in 2024.
Jeddah Season 2019
The events of Jeddah Season 2019 were concentrated in five areas within the city: Historic Jeddah (al-Balad), al-Hamra Corniche, the Waterfront, King Abdullah Sport City, and Obhur. Additionally, other events were held around Jeddah City and at King Abdullah Economic City.
Jeddah Season 2019 Events
Jeddah Season 2019 featured a daily schedule of events published on the season's official account on the "X" platform to guide visitors to available activities. The schedule included various events such as the Jeddah Shopping Festival, visual and folkloric shows, theatrical performances, concerts, daily fireworks displays, comedy shows, and marine championships, including the Sailing Surfing Championship and the Sport Fishing Championship.
Jeddah Season 2022
The number of event zones in Jeddah Season 2022 increased to nine, including the "City Walk" zone, the largest of the season, spanning an area of 282,000 m². It featured nine subzones, such as the Anime Village, Adventure Village, Fashion Village, BBQ Yard, and the Arab and International Studios Zone.
The event zones of Jeddah Season 2022 also included "Jeddah Pier," a mobile amusement park featuring thirty-nine rides, the Colorful Garden, Adrinaland, and Jeddah Jungle. The jungle included a garden with over one thousand animals, allowing visitors to observe them up close, along with a safari adventure experience and a forest walkway.
As part of the season, the Jeddah Yacht Club offered recreational activities such as diving trips, fishing, parasailing, and amphibious car experiences. Jeddah Superdome, the largest dome in the world, hosted concerts and the "K-Pop Festival." Live roaming performances took place at Jeddah Art Promenade, while Prince Majid Park celebrated world cultures every Friday by showcasing their traditions and arts. In Historic Jeddah area 'al-Balad,' comedy shows were presented on the stage of the Red Sea International Film Festival. Additionally, Cirque du Soleil - Fusion was hosted at King Abdullah Sport City.
Jeddah Season 2022 events
Jeddah Season 2022 featured a total of 2,800 events, ranging from recreational games to interactive experiences, such as participant engagement with artwork in the Fashion Village at City Walk. The season also included twenty concerts, four of which were international, nine plays, four global exhibitions, an international circus, and five marine activities, such as stand-up paddling and boating.
Jeddah Season 2024
In 2024, Jeddah Season returned under the theme "Once Again," featuring a variety of events and activities. This coincided with the development of infrastructure and tourism facilities in Jeddah Governorate, alongside the construction of various hotels and resorts.
The season was launched with a celebration at the Jeddah Art Promenade, located within the Jeddah Waterfront, on June 27, 2024. The event included various accompanying activities and performances, such as drone shows, visual displays, fireworks, and roaming performances.
Jeddah Season 2024 events
Jeddah Season 2024 offered approximately five thousand events across five entertainment zones, featuring a variety of activities, including adventures, experiences, theatrical performances, live artistic and cultural shows, interactive games, local and international restaurants and cafes, and innovative recreational, sports, and tourism activities, alongside shopping. The season attracted around two million visitors.
The events of this edition included classic and modified cars, showcased on the Jeddah Corniche Circuit track. The "City Walk" zone featured eight subzones, offering over ninety restaurants and cafes, sixty shopping outlets, and thirty interactive rides.
The season also featured the Jeddah Season International Motosurf Cup, held at the Obhur Corniche area in northern Jeddah, with the participation of male and female competitors from several countries.
