Al-Dubaikhi Heritage Palace, also known as Al-Dubaikhi Heritage Palace Museum, is an archaeological site in Qassim Province, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is one of the large mudbrick structures built in the style of traditional old houses. The palace is located in the village of al-Qwai’, west of Buraydah City, and is considered one of the private museums in the province.

Al-Dubaikhi Heritage Palace was inaugurated on April 30, 2012. It consists of halls, wings, and sections that showcase a variety of items and exhibits related to social, cultural, civilizational, and artisanal aspects.

Features of al-Dubaikhi Heritage Palace

Al-Dubaikhi Heritage Palace features twelve rooms of varying sizes and houses approximately three thousand diverse heritage items. These artifacts cover various aspects of daily life in the past, including cooking and dining tools, household items made from copper, wood, and leather, water vessels, coffee-making tools, censers (Mabakhir), and traditional hand mills (Raha) used for grinding and crushing grains.

The collection also includes tools used in agriculture and plowing, as well as equipment for extracting water from wells, such as wooden pulleys (Mihala and Dirajah), sieves (Gharb), ropes, and traditional water-lifting systems (Arshiyah for the Saniya). Additionally, there are tools for tilling the land, such as plows, shovels (Misaha), and tamping tools (Madmitha). The palace also showcases carpentry tools, a selection of old school and educational supplies, traditional men’s and women’s clothing and personal items, as well as women’s jewelry and cosmetic tools.
