Dammam Museum halls
Dammam Museum houses four halls. The first hall, called the "Prehistoric Hall," displays texts and images narrating humankind's beginnings, the Earth's formation, and its geological layers. It also features a collection of stone tools and images of sites dating back to prehistoric periods, including the Ubaid period in the province.
The second hall, called the "Pre-Islamic Hall," showcases a collection of tools, pottery pieces, various inscriptions, and ancient writings dating from the late Stone Ages to the pre-Islamic era. It also features texts and images depicting periods that preceded the advent of Islam.
The third hall, known as the "Islamic Hall," narrates the migration of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him (PBUH), to al-Madinah al-Munawwarah, the era of the Rightly Guided Caliphs, and successive Islamic periods. This is presented through a collection of various artifacts, and panels featuring texts, images, and diagrams from those periods.
The fourth hall, called the "Prince Mohammed Bin Fahd Heritage Hall," contains a collection of heritage artifacts, coins, and pottery. The museum also screens films about Saudi Arabia's antiquities and heritage.
