Al-Khuraymat Group is part of the rock-cut tomb complex in Hijr, located in AlUla, west of the Hejaz Railway line. It is characterized by the abundance of tomb facades, totaling fifty-three tombs distributed across several rock formations. The tomb facades display a variety of designs and decorative elements.
This area includes rock formations carved with Nabataean tombs, with each formation housing a cluster of tombs. Another tomb showcases the art of carving on its façade with prominent columns and ornate capitals, in addition to wall recesses on either side of the façade, which were likely intended for placing offerings.
There is also a smaller tomb with a semi-circular façade above its entrance, featuring a small central rosette. Additionally, there is a group of tombs with flat façades crowned at the top by a series of complete and stepped merlons.
