Diriyah Museum is one of the museums of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is located within Salwa Palace, in Diriyah Governorate, northwest of Riyadh City. It showcases brief content and documentaries recounting the history of the First Saudi State.

Objectives of the Diriyah Museum

The museum seeks to shed light upon the history of the First Saudi State by providing visitors with two display experiences showcasing several museum components and launching activities held in Salwa Palace, the seat of the First Saudi State.

Diriyah Museum Exhibits

The Diriyah Museum offers an open-air exhibition, held between the ruins. It enables its visitors to wander the restored ruins through a dedicated corridor. The corridor features shaded rest stops equipped with information screens introducing the palace's most notable areas and events that took place therein.

The museum features an indoor exhibition held in the fifth and sixth units of Salwa Palace, where it displays various paintings, sculptures, and museum pieces, and broadcasts documentaries.
