Saudi-Italian Investment Forum

The Saudi-Italian Investment Forum is an international investment event organized by the Ministry of Investment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the Italian Republic. The forum aims to strengthen investment and trade partnerships and facilitate access for Italian investors and companies to promising investment opportunities in the Kingdom.

The Saudi-Italian Investment Forum was launched on June 27, 2022. Its agenda included several panel discussions addressing topics such as infrastructure, transportation, culture, renewable energy, and the megaprojects associated with Saudi Vision 2030. The sessions featured participation from officials of government entities and private sector representatives from both sides and highlighted the developments in the Kingdom’s business environment.

The forum included the signing of a memorandum of understanding to enhance collaboration between the Federation of Saudi Chambers and the General Confederation of Italian Industry, as well as an investment agreement in the industrial sector. The forum coincided with the ninetieth anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom and Italy. The Italian Republic is one of the Kingdom's prominent trading partners, with twenty-one Saudi companies operating in Italy and 162 Italian companies established in the Kingdom as of 2022.

The Saudi-Italian Investment Forum was held on September 4, 2023, in Milan City, organized by the Ministry of Investment in partnership with the Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy. The forum featured presentations and discussion sessions led by participating government entities, focusing on investment opportunities in clean energy, petrochemicals, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, automotive industries, advanced manufacturing, and real estate development in the tourism and hospitality fields.

The forum witnessed the signing of twenty-one agreements and memorandums of understanding in fields such as energy, clean energy, healthcare, real estate, waste management, technology, and manufacturing. These agreements aim to enhance trade cooperation, develop commercial, industrial, and investment relations, and strengthen ties across various fields between the two countries.
