The cultural attachés of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia belong to a sector of the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom. They oversee the academic, financial, and social affairs of Saudi students studying abroad on scholarships. Additionally, they play a cultural role in promoting Saudi culture and its symbols, fostering scientific and cultural cooperation between higher education institutions in the Kingdom and their counterparts in the host country, and organizing official visits and programs for visiting professors and students. The General Secretariat of Cultural Attachés at the Ministry of Education oversees all activities of the Saudi cultural attachés.
