Launched in 2024 in Jeddah Governorate, in Makkah al-Mukarramah Province, west of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, it operates under the slogan “Once Again.” The event aligns with tourism facilities and infrastructure developments in the governorate, including the construction of new hotels and resorts.

Jeddah Season 2024 aimed to offer a tourism and entertainment experience for visitors of all ages, both from within the Kingdom and abroad. The event sought to elevate Jeddah Governorate's status as a tourist destination on a regional and global scale, while also supporting local tourism and creating direct and indirect job opportunities.
Jeddah Season 2024's opening ceremony
Jeddah Season 2024 launched with a ceremony at the Jeddah Art Promenade within the Jeddah Waterfront on June 27, 2024. The ceremony featured an array of events and activities, including drone and visual shows, fireworks, and roaming performances.
Jeddah Season 2024 offered over five thousand events across five entertainment zones, covering everything from adventure and immersive experiences to theatrical productions, live cultural and artistic performances, interactive games, and local and international restaurants and cafés. The season also introduced innovative entertainment, sports, tourism activities, and shopping experiences. In total, Jeddah Season 2024 attracted approximately two million visitors.

Activities and events in Jeddah Season 2024
Jeddah Season 2024 featured a range of events and activities across multiple locations in Jeddah Governorate, including City Walk, Warner Bros Discovery "Celebrate Every Story," Imagine Monet, Prince Majed Park, Cyan Waterpark, Jeddah Promenade, Jeddah Yacht Club and Marina, Historic Jeddah, Fakieh Aquarium, and cultural showcases at the Equestrian Club. Each venue offered cafés, restaurants, and shopping spaces.
Jeddah Season 2024 also provided interactive experiences with action games, skill and arcade games, and Arabic theater performances. Special subzones included China Town, Cairo Nights, Horror Village, Bubbly, Metropolitan City, Wonder Wall, Fun Land, Garden, and an interactive exhibition showcasing two hundred paintings by renowned artist Claude Monet, enhanced by modern technology. Entertainment areas and open spaces offered a variety of games and activities suitable for all ages and groups, such as the indoor zoo and the Historic District - al-Balad.
The events of Jeddah Season 2024 included classic and modified car displays, which were hosted at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, while the City Walk area itself featured eight subzones, over ninety restaurants and cafés, sixty retail shops, and thirty action games.
Additionally, the Summer Speed Festival took place on the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, a 6.175 km track with twenty-seven high-speed turns, including sixteen left turns and eleven right turns. Attendees had the chance to take rides in fast cars driven by professional drivers and enjoy racing remote-controlled cars during the inaugural Saudi Drift Championship, all under the supervision of the Saudi Federation for Robotics and RC Sports. The Summer Speed Festival also offered a variety of workshops, a selection of restaurants in the paddock area, and live musical performances.
As part of Jeddah Season 2024, cultural showcases highlighted the heritage of seven Asian cultures: India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Indonesia. These events included artistic and entertainment performances, along with an immersive cultural journey to foster unity among diverse cultures and introduce their various culture and arts. Each week's activities were dedicated to one Asian culture, featuring live shows, diverse traditional folklore, and fun activities for children. Asian communities showcased artistic and entertainment performances, celebrating the cultural heritage and artistic legacy of their countries. These cultural evenings resonated with harmony as community groups performed folk songs and dances, highlighting the traditions of each nation. Each group took the stage, dressed in traditional attire and playing native instruments, delivering performances. Dedicated booths offered traditional foods from each participating country.
Historic Jeddah hosted its own lineup of activities for Jeddah Season 2024, blending modern and ancient elements along al-Balad streets and alleyways. Visitors strolled through al-Alawi, al-Badou, al-Nada, and al-Khasakiya markets, where historical buildings adorned with Hejazi architecture (Rawashin) stood among old shops and stalls offering local sweets and snacks to visitors. Popular dishes like Balila and Jeddah-style liver, along with traditional cold drinks, were also offered to visitors.
Jeddah Season 2024 also offered experiences, including the Beach Club at City Walk, which features a ball pit with over two million white and yellow balls. The ball pit was divided into two sections - one for adults and one for children - where visitors could jump, swim, and play in a sea of recycled plastic balls. At the Warner Bros. Discovery area, guests could immerse themselves in the world of Batman, or the Dark Night, and explore the Batmobile, as well as learn about the evolution of the character and view the iconic costumes he wore.
The Fun Land area boasted four indoor spaces designed to engage children through cartoon characters. Highlights included a coloring station, a section where kids could dress up as their favorite cartoon characters for photo ops, a bike riding area, a basketball court, and a simulated cooking experience. Fun Land also featured a slime area where kids could mold and shape their own creations. Two climbing zones - ‘Blippi’ and ‘the adventure zone dart zone inflatable’ - allowed children to embark on discovery and interactive adventures through jumping, complete with foam dinosaurs and the adventure virtual reality (VR) and arcades.
Prince Majid Park, part of Jeddah Season 2024, offered live shows and entertainment zones, including circus performances with acrobatics and skilled feats. Visitors could also enjoy shopping, culinary experiences, and entertainment, along with daytime and nighttime shows and a dancing fountain display.
Jeddah Season 2024 also hosted the International Motosurf Cup at the Obhur Corniche, north of Jeddah City, featuring male and female competitors from around the world. This cup is a water sport that involves using a mechanical board to ride the waves. Additionally, the season provided coastal walking paths along the shoreline, offering visitors the chance to enjoy the sea view and engage in recreational activities, such as water games and beach sports.
