The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has 102 embassies, eighteen consulates, five delegations, and one commercial office abroad. In 1930, the first Saudi representation abroad was inaugurated in Cairo, the Arab Republic of Egypt. The number of missions increased to five missions in 1936 and eighteen missions in 1951.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is responsible for Saudi representations, consulates, embassies, and the Kingdom's diplomatic relations, and works to create joint relations with countries worldwide.
