Ahmed Eid al-Harbi (born 1948) is the former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) and its first elected president. He played for al-Ahli Saudi Club as a goalkeeper and represented the Saudi national team in many international matches.

Ahmed Eid played for al-Tasami Club in Jeddah City for three years before officially moving to al-Ahli Saudi Club in 1966. He achieved great success with al-Ahli, winning twelve championships: two league titles, three Crown Prince Cups, and seven King's Cups. In 1980, he retired as a player, preferring to continue his higher studies in the United States of America (USA).

Ahmed Eid represented the Saudi national team in thirteen international matches. He participated in the Gulf Cup tournaments in 1970 in Bahrain, 1972 in the Kingdom, and 1974 in Kuwait. He received the title of Best Goalkeeper in the first and second tournaments.
Ahmed Eid and administrative positions
After returning from the USA, Ahmed Eid resumed work in the sports field as a member of the Board of Directors of al-Ahli Saudi Club and supervisor of football in 1983, then as vice chairman of the Board of Directors of al-Ahli Saudi Club, and later its chairman in 1985.
In 1996, he was appointed manager of the Saudi national team in the finals of the Asian Cup in Abu Dhabi and continued in his position until the end of the Saudi national team's participation in the 1998 World Cup in France. Afterward, he was appointed manager of the International Friendship Football Tournament for Prince Abdullah al-Faisal's Cup for seven years. In 2000, he was appointed a member of the Board of Directors of SAFF.
Furthermore, he was appointed head of the interim committee to manage SAFF in 2012 under a decision by Prince Nawaf Bin Faisal Bin Fahd, president of the General Presidency of Youth Welfare at that time (currently the Ministry of Sport).

For the first time in the history of Saudi sports, elections were held for the presidency of SAFF in December 2012. Ahmed Eid won then, becoming the first elected president of SAFF since its establishment. In 2019, Ahmed Eid was appointed member of the Council of the Federation Internationale de Football Association "FIFA."
