Mohammed Saleh Muhaimid al-Khilaiwi (1971 - 2013) is a prominent former football star in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Playing as a defender, he spent nearly fifteen years on the football field, achieving numerous titles and accomplishments. He represented both al-Ittihad FC and al-Ahli SFC and concluded his career at Ohod Club in al-Madinah al-Munawwarah.

Mohammed al-Khilaiwi was born in Jeddah City and progressed through the youth ranks at al-Ittihad FC. His real breakthrough came in 1989, and in 1991, he won his first championship with al-Ittihad FC, which was the Crown Prince Cup. This success led to his selection for the national team at the AFC Asian Cup held in Japan in 1992, where he played as a starter. He continued to be a part of the national team until 2001.

In 2003, Mohammed al-Khilaiwi announced his transfer to al-Ahli SFC, and after two years, he moved to al-Ohod Club before retiring from football. He then worked as the sports activities supervisor at the Higher Institute of Electricity and Water in Rabigh.
Death of Mohammed al-Khilaiwi and his honors
Mohammed al-Khilaiwi passed away on the evening of Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at al-Salam Hospital in Jeddah due to a heart attack at the age of forty-two. On July 20, 2013, a tribute match was held in his honor between al-Ittihad FC and al-Ahli SFC, which ended in a draw (four-four).
