ALLaM 34B Model
ALLaM 34B model, developed by HUMAIN, builds on earlier models created by the National Center for Artificial Intelligence. It is one of the most advanced and powerful models developed within the national scope of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA). ALLaM 34B is considered one of the leading large Arabic language models in the Arab world. Its performance was verified by Cohere using the Multitask Language Understanding (MMLU) benchmark.
Although ALLaM 34B was initially designed in Arabic, it operates in both Arabic and English. It was trained on a large corpus of Arabic data and then refined and improved through the contributions of around 600 experts and 250 evaluators.
The development of the ALLaM model and HUMAIN Chat application involved the work of approximately 120 AI specialists, including 35 PhD holders, and was entirely developed in Saudi Arabia by Saudi talent, with contributions from select global experts.
