Qamra Shabra Game objectives
The game aims to strengthen children's muscles, develop their verbal interaction skills, and help them build new vocabulary. It also enhances their balance, speed, and jumping abilities.
How to play Qamra Shabra Game
A group of girls aged between five and nine years old play the game. The players are divided into groups of about four players each by casting votes or dividing into groups. Each group chooses a name from the game's names: Shabra (morning fog), Qamra (Moon), Nojoom (stars), and Kawakeb (planets). The players then prepare for the game by selecting a suitable location. Two players hold a sturdy and well-extended rope, swinging it in one direction. The other players jump over the rope continuously without stopping, either individually or in pairs. Players must not disrupt their competitors. If a player's feet touch the rope or they stumble, they are out of the game, and another player takes their place. The player who keeps jumping without their feet touching the rope until the end is declared the winner.
