Hanan Abdullah Mohammed al-Samari has been a member of the Shura Council in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since October 20, 2020. She is the chairperson of the council's Commerce and Investment Committee. She has also served as an advisor in entrepreneurship and the entertainment sector and worked in strategic planning and non-profit sector development.

Hanan al-Samari obtained her bachelor's degree in Facility Management under the Business Administration discipline from King Saud University in 2006. She later earned an Executive Master's in Business Administration from the British Academy for Training located in the British capital, London in 2017.
Professional career of Hanan al-Samari
Her professional career began in the private sector, managing branches of Bank al-Jazira from 2007 to 2010. She then worked in Training and Development at al-Anoud Foundation from 2010 to 2011. From 2011 to 2020, she served as the CEO of the Deem al-Manahil Development Fund at al-Manahil Charitable Foundation. She held the position of Advisor to the Chairman for Operations at the General Entertainment Authority in 2019 and was a Board Member of al-Manahil Charitable Foundation in 2020. She also served on the organizing committee for the Fahd: The Spirit of Leadership exhibition.

Hanan al-Samari received the Princess Lulwa Bint Abdulaziz Award for Young Leadership from the Council of Saudi Chambers (now the Federation of Chambers) in 2016. In 2021, she was listed among the fifty most influential personalities in the Kingdom by Arabian Business Magazine. Moreover, she was honored in 2022 as one of the key leaders in the entertainment sector, recognized as "Creators of Happiness" in the Kingdom at the Joy Awards.
