Al-Noor Specialist Hospital is a government specialist hospital located near the Muzdalifah Site in Makkah al-Mukarramah, western of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is 3.5 km away from the Grand Mosque. It was established in 1983, by the order of King Fahd Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. It is considered one of the important medical hospitals in Makkah al-Mukarramah.
Al-Noor Specialist Hospital Departments
The hospital includes seventeen specialized departments that provide services to patients, including the General Surgery Department and the Orthopedic Surgery Department. It also hosts ten departments for providing emergency services, the most important of which are the Accidents and Emergency Department, outpatient clinics, and diabetes patient care.
The Emergency Department of al-Noor Hospital is the largest emergency department in Makkah al-Mukarramah with a capacity of seventy-three beds. It is a fully integrated department equipped with the latest treatment technologies. All patient procedures are conducted electronically, from registration to the treatment plan.
The department buildings are distributed in the shape of a rectangle at the hospital's headquarters in al-Naseem Neighborhood. The hospital's mosque is on the east side, while the emergency airstrip is on the western side.
