Musaned Platform is a Saudi initiative launched by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development on March 16, 2014. It is a comprehensive electronic platform for all steps of recruiting domestic workers. The platform aims to facilitate the recruitment process of domestic workers, enhance the protection of rights for all parties involved, and inform employers and domestic workers of their rights and responsibilities.

Musaned Platform services

Musaned Platform offers a range of services, including the unified recruitment journey, which starts from selecting the worker's profession and nationality to their arrival to the client. There is also a service for issuing visas for farmers, fishermen, and shepherds, through which up to six workers can be recruited for the following activities: (farmers, fishermen, shepherds, beekeepers, and stable workers) for the employer.

Other services include the alternative (compensatory) visa, which is issued to the employer without government fees if the male or female worker leaves the Kingdom permanently within ninety days of their first entry. There is also the disability visa service, which allows individuals with disabilities to apply for a domestic worker visa through the applicant's account on the Musaned platform, support service units, or individual recruitment departments. This service requires registration in the social care system to benefit from Musaned services. Additionally, the Maarofa service enables the recruitment of a female domestic worker from the Philippines, Kenya, or Sri Lanka, specified by name and selected by the employer.

Electronic Complaint System on the Musaned Platform

The platform offers an electronic complaint system, which allows users to file complaints on active or canceled unified contracts dated from July 1, 2019, or on Maarofah service contracts. For other types of complaints, a report can be filed with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development by calling the unified number 19911.
