Establishment of the National Medical Care Company
The National Medical Care Company was established in 2003 as a closed joint-stock company owned by the General Organization for Social Insurance and a group of shareholders. In 2013, it transitioned to a public joint-stock company listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul). The company currently owns Riyadh Care Hospital, previously known as (the Social Insurance Hospital), which was established in 1990, National Care Hospital, established in 1966, and the Care Family Medicine Center, which began actual operations in 2017.
