Establishment of Banque Saudi Fransi
Banque Saudi Fransi was established as a Saudi joint stock company by Royal Decree No. M/23 dated June 4, 1977. The bank officially initiated its activities on December 11, 1977, after the operations of Banque de l'Indochine et de Suez were transferred to the Kingdom. The bank operates under Commercial Register No. 1010073368 issued on September 5, 1989. Its branch network consists of eighty-seven branches in the Kingdom. The bank aims to provide all types of banking services, including Islamic Sharia-compliant products that are certified and supervised by an independent Sharia board.

Banque Saudi Fransi offers its conventional commercial banking services locally and internationally within the personal and business banking sectors, as well as wealth management, and Islamic banking products and services that are compatible with Islamic Sharia and approved by the bank’s own Sharia board.
Personal products offered by the bank include: Murabaha Home Finance, Murabaha Personal Finance, Ijarah Personal Finance, Tawarruq Personal Finance, Tawafoq Credit Card, and JANA Rewards Program. Business products include: Murabaha Investment, Tawarruq Finance, Murabaha Trade Finance, and Financing of Infrastructure Projects.
In 2020, Banque Saudi Fransi launched the digital signature service for customers (Emdha), which is one of the services that complement the bank’s digital transformation of its personal and business services.
