Higher Institute for Paper and Industrial Technologies

The Higher Institute for Paper and Industrial Technologies (HIPIT) is one of the institutes under the Saudi Center for International Strategic Partnerships in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is a non-profit, employment-oriented training facility located in Jeddah City, Makkah al-Mukarramah Province. The institute specializes in offering accredited diploma training programs to Saudi high school graduates, providing technical training that leads to professional or administrative employment in organizations that support the national value system. HIPIT was established in 2011 by the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, with financial support from the Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf).

The Higher Institute for Paper and Industrial Technologies offers specialized technical diploma training programs in paper and industrial production, with a study duration of two years targeting Saudi high school graduates. These programs include diplomas in the use of mechanical tools and equipment, application of safety techniques and procedures in an industrial environment, mechanical technician, electrical technician, supply technician, production technician, and industrial maintenance technician. The institute also provides a range of short courses and training programs to meet the needs of the local sector.

Trainees enrolled in one of the diploma programs at the Higher Institute for Paper and Industrial Technologies enjoy several benefits, including a monthly bonus of SAR4,000, medical insurance, and registration with the General Organization for Social Insurance from the first day of joining the Institute. Additionally, they are provided with all necessary training supplies, such as uniforms and educational materials. Upon acceptance into the institute, trainees sign an employment contract with a hiring company and receive an accredited diploma from the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation.
