Fahad Bin Sultan University is a private university, established on 25, 2003 in the city of Tabuk, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The university comprises five colleges offering a total of eleven programs at both the bachelor's and master's levels.

Fahad Bin Sultan University history

Fahad Bin Sultan University was established after the Minister of Education approved the creation of the College of Computer Science, starting with a single college. In the academic year 2006/2007, a women's section was added. In 2007/2008, the Colleges of Business and Management and Engineering were added. The university is overseen by a Board of Trustees chaired by Prince Fahad Bin Sultan Bin Abdulaziz and the University Council.

Fahad Bin Sultan University is located at one of the northern entrances of Tabuk. The campus includes eleven buildings comprising one hundred classrooms, sixty-three laboratories, two libraries, two auditoriums, three sports fields, a medical unit, and three mosques.

The university received full institutional accreditation from the National Center for Assessment and Academic Accreditation on October 10, 2021. This institutional accreditation was granted after the university met the main accreditation standards, which include the mission and strategic objectives, governance, leadership and management, education, as well as students and faculty members, institutional resources, scientific research and innovation, and community partnership.

Fahad Bin Sultan University colleges

The university comprises five colleges: the College of Business and Management, which includes the Department of Management, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship, and the Department of Accounting and Finance; and the College of Engineering, which includes four departments: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Renewable Energy Engineering.

The College of Computer Science includes three departments: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Information Technology. The College of Sciences and Humanities comprises four departments: English Language and Translation, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Humanities. The fifth college is the College of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, which offers two master's programs: the Academic Master of Business Administration (MBA) and the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA).

Community engagement at Fahad Bin Sultan University

On March 10, 2022, Fahad Bin Sultan University organized the 'Women's Forum' in collaboration with the Family Affairs Committee of the Emirate of Tabuk Province Council. The forum also involved the participation of the Tabuk branches of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development and the Human Rights Commission, along with several other government entities. The forum discussed various topics, including awareness of protection laws against abuse and human rights, the care of women by the Family Protection Unit and the Human Rights Commission, empowering women in development projects, supporting their entry into the labor market, the role of entrepreneurship in supporting startup projects and raising awareness about permanent centers for women that provide consultation and training.
