Turki Abdullah al-Dakhil (born in 1973) is a Saudi journalist, writer, and former ambassador to the United Arab Emirates.

His positions

He worked for nearly three decades in the media, switching over between written press, radio, television, and Internet journalism. He served as General Manager of 'al-Arabiya' and 'al-Hadath' channels for four years starting in 2015. In 2018, a royal order was issued appointing him as ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the United Arab Emirates, a position he held until 2023.

His work

He presented several diverse programs, including 'Spotlights', a weekly talk show hosting figures from the world of art, thought, politics, and journalism, 'With Turki al-Dakhil', a talk show hosting top-ranking political figures, and 'Something in My Mind', a daily show presented during the month of Ramadan.

His writings

He wrote numerous books and publications, including: 'The world is a Woman', 'We Are the Blind Company', 'Hisham Nazer', 'Tolerance is the Adornment of Life and Religion', 'A Jewel in the Hand of a Coalman' and 'al-Gosaibi Told Me'. Moreover, he wrote articles for a number of newspapers, such as al-Watan and al-Riyadh.

Awards

Turki al-Dakhil won several awards in journalism and media, and was honored by many entities, including international entities and organizations. In 2023, the President of the United Arab Emirates conferred 'Zayed the Second Medal' of first class to him in appreciation of his efforts during his tenure as ambassador to the United Arab Emirates.
